Jodi Myers
Owner/Nail Technician

I grew up in Statesville, NC and have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. I stepped away from the industry for a little more than a year in 1999 after receiving a degree in computer programming.  It didn't take me long to realize that the computer world was not where I belong.  I missed seeing my clients on a regular basis and hearing about their lives.  I also missed the feeling of helping others feel better about themselves. Ultimately,  I opened J. Myers Salon in September 2006 in a small 600 square feet space.  In August 2012, my husband and I purchased a 6000 square feet building in downtown Statesville to expand the business to include a full service salon and spa.  We decided to add sunless tanning as an added amenity for our clientele.  I had clients in the past going to 3 or 4 different places for services and felt it would be perfect to offer all beauty and spa services under one roof.  I have since dedicated my time, energy, and vision into this business and to growing a team of caring professionals that enjoy providing a wonderful experience for each person that walks through the door.

My passion for nail care has helped my business flourish over the years.  Continuing education each year has helped me stay on top of the latest trends in nails.  I thrive on helping my clients attain the best possible nails and feet they can have.  There is no better compliment than my clients telling me how often others comment on their beautiful nails and feet.

In my time away from the business nothing makes me happier than traveling and spending quality time with my husband Matt and my two precious children!

I was inspired at a young age to become a hairstylist when I began cutting and styling my friends and family's hair for special occasions. Thats when I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist. I graduated from Hair Stylist Academy in North Carolina 10 years ago. I specialize in hair styling, coloring and cutting. I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in hairstyling and color by attending hair shows and participating in seminars.
